Social media is all about showing off and documenting your crazy adventures. You want to show your friends all of the cool places you’ve been and get just the right aesthetic for your profile. If you’re looking to make it big on social media and become an Instagram star, you may want to consider visiting these Instagrammable travel spots. They will ensure you have incredibly beautiful content to share with your followers while also providing you with an amazing travel experience. If you don’t already have these Instagrammable travel spots on your bucket list, now is the time to add them!

Venice, Italy

One of the most romantic cities in the world, Venice, Italy is a city made up of small canals. Don’t expect to see cars or taxis driving around this historic city. Instead, you’ll see gondolas and motorboats traveling through the canals transporting people around the city. Not only is the architecture and alleyways absolutely incredible, but the churches and piazzas are also definitely worth a visit. Make sure to get a snapshot of the Grand Canal and a selfie of you on a gondola! Your followers will go wild.

Machu Picchu, Peru

One of the most Instragrammable travel spots in the world is the ancient city of Machu Picchu in the Peruvian Andes mountains. This ancient city was created by the Incas in the 15th Century, but it wasn’t discovered until the 20th Century, so it was untouched for hundreds of years. Now, travelers can journey to the mountaintop multiple ways. They can take a train or bus from Cusco, Peru to Aguas Calientes, the city underneath Machu Picchu, or they can complete a multiple-day hike along the Incan Trail. Koh Phi Phi, Thailand

If you’re looking for some Instragrammable travel spots with breathtaking sunsets, then Koh Phi Phi island in Thailand will give you just that. You’ll be able to sit on the beach and watch the sunset behind the hills and large rocks jutting out of the ocean while sipping on rum out of a freshly cut coconut. There is absolutely no better feeling in the world than that!

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona is a city full of history, art, and culture. Barcelona’s best-known artist and architect is Antoni Gaudi, who is known for the design of the incomplete cathedral, Sagrada Familia and the colorful mosaic garden, Park Guell. These two sites are some of the most Instagrammable travel spots in Barcelona, so definitely make sure to snap some cute pictures there! Pro tip: buy your tickets in advance because they are limited and will sell out!

There is more to Barcelona than just Gaudi’s creations, though. You’ll want to document areas of the Gothic Quarter, the views from the beach, La Rambla, and climb up to Bunkers del Carmel for a view overlooking the city and the Mediterranean Sea.

Ostuni, Italy

Located in the Puglia region of Italy, Ostuni isn’t very well known when it comes to tourism. People have been living in this city since the Stone Age. What is so unique about Ostuni is that it sits high up on a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea and fields of olive trees and that every building in the city is white. That’s right; the entire city is white! What gives you a better excuse to wear a vibrant outfit than going to take photos in the White City? You will love the narrow streets and alleyways with colorful flowers growing up the sides of houses.

New York City, USA

New York City may be one of the most Instagrammable travel spots in America. It’s full of people hustling and bustling through skyscrapers and beautiful brownstones. The architecture is amazing with modern and historic contrast. Don’t forget to take a stroll through Central Park for iconic photos of green grass with the city in the background. If you’re looking for a great shot of the city as a whole, climb up to the top of Rockefeller Center for a 360 view of the Big Apple.

Paris may just be the classiest, most romantic city in the world. With intricate architecture, delicate cuisine, and a stony color scheme, it’s impossible not to get amazing photos in this city. Of course, you’ll have to grab a picture with the Eiffel Tower, both during the day and at night, because did you even go to Paris if you don’t have a photo with the Eiffel Tower? The second most Instagrammable travel spot in Paris is Notre Dame. While the iconic view may look like two simple towers, it is so much more once you enter the cathedral and view the stained glass and altar.

Bali, Indonesia

The most Instagrammable travel spots for tropical aesthetic is Bali, Indonesia. Located in South East Asia, Bali is covered in colorful flowers, greenery, and incredible sunsets that will leave you speechless every night. From waterfalls, ancient Buddhist temples, beaches, and rice fields, you’ll find the most perfect Instagram photo opportunities in Bali.

Santorini, Greece

Opa! Book your ticket to the gorgeous Greek island of Santorini fast if you want to cross off one of the most Instragrammable travel spots on your list. This gorgeous island isn’t just the perfect place to enjoy summer sunsets, but it is a city full of white buildings topped off with bright blue roofs, which gives you the perfect aesthetic for your Instagram profile. New Orleans, USA

It’s time to party down Bourbon Street at one of the most Instagrammable travel spots in the United States. New Orleans, Louisiana is a city rich with history and culture. Walk down the street and you’re guaranteed to hear some kind of jazz music playing and smell the delicious Creole spices being mixed in with whatever is cooking on the stove. The architecture is unique, unlike any other architecture in the US, with iron balconies and large mansions casually set on narrow streets. Enjoy a beignet from Cafe Du Monde and stroll through the French Quarter to soak in a true New Orleans experience while keeping your eye out for the best Instagram photo opportunities.

Marrakech, Morocco

The first thing people rave about when they visit Marrakech is the incredibly unique and breathtaking architecture. Marrakech is designed with funky patterns and vibrant colors, which means your Instagram profile definitely will not lack color when you visit. Geneva may be one of the most beautiful cities in all of Western Europe. This gorgeous city is located right on the edge of Lake Geneva with the Alps and Jura mountains in the background. The grass is always a vibrant green and the lake a crystal blue during the spring and summer. However, visit in the winter for a white wonderland of snow and ice. Cinque Terre, Italy

The five coastal towns that make up Cinque Terre should be at the top of the list for the most Instagrammable travel spots. These five medieval towns, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Manarola, Vernazza, and Monterosso, are located along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea and are made up of colorful buildings and houses. You can easily tour all five of these small towns in just a day and then pick your favorite one. Each town is different and offers a variety of experiences. To travel between the towns, you can either take the train or hike through the hills from town to town.

Cairo, Egypt

Take your followers back to their middle school days when they were learning about Ancient Egypt and the Great Pyramids of Giza by visiting Cairo. There is so much more to Cairo than just the pyramids and the Sphinx. It’s a city full of culture, incredible food, and intense marketplaces. You’ll want to capture thousands of pictures of the architecture, fashion, and cuisine served in restaurants. You’ll want to find a view from above the city so you can see Mount Fuji off in the distance. Don’t forget to wander away from the hustle and bustle to fields of cherry blossom trees and to see gorgeous temples in the countryside too.

Oaxaca, Mexico

In central Mexico, you’ll find the city of Oaxaca, which is known for its colorful buildings and incredibly delicious food. These vibrant colors will brighten up your Instagram feed like no other city in the world. The city is also full of gorgeous, large churches that make the perfect background for your portraits and selfies. Venture outside of the city into the Mexican countryside to view ancient ruins and what is left of the pyramids that once stood there.
